My Nissan Patrol is two years old, and the bonnet and bumper are already full of tiny chips from the trucks on my daily road. I am ready to book film, but when I looked for a Certified car PPF installation in Musaffah, every page used the same word and none of them explained who certified them. Is it a paper from the film maker, a training course, or just a word they print on the flyer? One shop told me they are “factory trained,” and another said they are “approved,” and I honestly cannot tell the difference. So I want to ask people who have been through this. Did you ask any shop to show proof, and what did they bring out? Does the film maker give its own warranty, and does it still count if the shop changes its name or closes? Is it fair to ask them to write the film brand, the batch and the covered parts on the receipt? Also, does a certified installer really do a cleaner job, or have you seen great work from a small shop with no badge at all? Another thing is the price. Do certified places always charge more, and is it worth it? If you picked a shop around here and are happy, or got burned, please tell me how you checked them, what you paid, and what you would do differently. Easy answers help me most.
