Two of them claim to be BMW specialists and the third is a general garage that says they've done plenty of them, which I'm not sure counts for much. I started looking around online and ended up on bmw-garage.ae while trying to understand what a proper specialist actually does differently, and it was at least more specific than the usual "we love cars" nonsense you see on garage websites. But a website can say anything, so I'd rather hear how people on here actually worked out who to trust. Did you go on a recommendation, ask to see the workshop, or just take a punt and hope for the best? I'm also curious whether anyone has ever walked away from a garage after getting a bad feeling, because I've done that once before and it turned out to be the right call.
